Wire Wrapped Pre-Packed Screen

We have taken the very successful Pre-Pack Screen and made it even better by integrating it with the latest stainless steel wire wrap technology to provide outstanding durability and performance.

This screen consists of an inner perforated base pipe covered with a stainless steel wire wrapped jacket.  A larger diameter stainless steel outer jacket is placed over the smaller inner jacket providing a large annular void which is packed with silica sand of the appropriate size and type.

The gauge of the inner and outer jackets is determined by the size and type of pack sand being used.  The size and type of pack sand to be used is dependent on the formation sands that are to be controlled.

This method affords the end user with the proven reliability of the Pre-Pack Screen and the durability of the best Wire Wrapped Screen.

The primary application for this type of screen would be in a open or cased hole and unconsolidated formations where a gravel pack is economically undesirable.  The formation is simply allowed to slough in and gravel pack itself around the liner.

As with all of our sand control products, these liners are manufactured in Canada at our Calgary, Alberta plant.  Each and every liner is manufactured on a per well basis to ensure that every screen is the right screen.
