Self Contained Power Swivel

Variperm Power Swivel rental units incorporate Bowen S45 (30 Ton) swivels into a completely self contained trailer mounted system. Included is its own power source, hydraulics, controls, safety valves and calibrated torque gages. The custom designed trailer can also haul up to six 3 1/2" Drill Collars along with a full line of drilling and milling accessories.

Variperm Power Swivels are used in shallow to intermediate wells and are designed for light drilling, workover projects, and remedial operations. They can be used to clean out debris, cement, bridge plugs, cement retainers, during washover operations, and for casing scraping operations. It is used primarily for drilling out any blockages in the wellbore, without having any outside power source (i.e.) power from a service rig. The service rig can run totally independent with a remote control source from the power swivel.

These Power Swivels units are light weight and their maneuverability is well suited for a variety of jobs. They are engineered to provide smooth, shock-free torque, which reduces drill string wear.
